Day 1
Fly to Cairo, followed by a short domestic flight to Luxor (approximately one hour). Upon arrival, a friendly member of our team will assist you with customs formalities and transfer you to your 5-star Nile cruise ship. In the evening, enjoy the freedom to explore the vibrant city of Luxor at your own pace.
Day 2
After breakfast, you will visit the Holy of Holies within the Karnak Temple Complex, home to the Great Temple of Amun. The journey continues to Luxor’s city center to explore the Luxor Temple, located on the Nile promenade and dedicated to King Amun. The temples of Luxor and Karnak are connected by a mile-long avenue lined with sphinx statues. Highlights include the imposing gate towers and the forest of columns in the Great Hypostyle Hall at Karnak. In the afternoon, the ship sets sail, continuing the journey via Esna to Kom Ombo. Enjoy your meals and overnight stay on board.
Day 3
Early in the morning, the journey continues to Kom Ombo to visit the unique twin temple dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus and the crocodile-headed god Sobek. The impressive reliefs beautifully depict both deities side by side. A fascinating highlight includes the mummified crocodiles, some over 2,000 years old, which are displayed as part of the temple’s ancient heritage. After the temple tour, you will visit the nearby Crocodile Museum. The cruise then continues to Aswan, where you will spend the night on board.
Day 4
Today, you will travel by motorboat to Agilika Island, located about eight kilometers south of Aswan, to visit the magnificent Philae Temple—also known as Hut-chenti, or “House of the Beginning.” This impressive temple is dedicated to Isis, the revered patron goddess and the “Pearl of the Nile.”
Day 5
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Aswan to relax or explore the vibrant Aswan souk. Alternatively, you can book an optional excursion with your tour guide to Abu Simbel, home to two of Egypt’s most impressive temples—the grand temple of Ramses II and the smaller temple dedicated to his wife, Nefertari. Later, the journey continues to Edfu, where you will spend the night on board.
Day 6
Relax on the inviting sun deck of your Nile cruise ship and watch the timeless, beautiful landscape along the river drift by. In the morning, the journey continues toward Esna.
Day 7
After breakfast, you will travel to the west bank of the Nile to explore Thebes-West, home to the extensive Valley of the Kings. Here, you will visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the most photographed monuments in Egypt. This beautiful terraced temple is part of the Deir el-Bahari complex and is nestled in a picturesque valley basin. In the Valley of the Kings, you will also find the tomb of Tutankhamun—the most famous of the 62 royal tombs discovered to date.
Day 8
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight to Sharm El Sheikh, or alternatively, enjoy an inland transfer from Luxor to Hurghada, El Quseir, or Marsa Alam. (Please explore the beach resorts available and choose the accommodation that best suits your preferences.)
Day 9
Start your beach holiday with a delicious breakfast buffet, then spend the day relaxing on the beach and soaking up the sun. In the evening, enjoy a sumptuous open buffet dinner featuring a wide selection of high-quality dishes served in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
Day 10
Discover a dreamlike beach with fine sand beneath your feet and breathtaking views of the vast Red Sea—truly the ultimate in relaxation. For added excitement, a variety of water sports are available to book on site, making your beach holiday even more memorable.
Day 11
