Itinerary
Your Exclusive Program Day by Day
Arrival & Embarkation in Luxor
Scheduled flight from Zurich or Geneva to Cairo, followed by an approx. 1-hour domestic flight to Luxor. Reception by your tour guide, transfer to the Dahabeya – a stylish sailing yacht with an oriental ambiance. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Karnak, Luxor & Valley of the Kings
Sightseeing on the East Bank: majestic Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Continuing to the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, and Deir el-Bahari. Return and overnight stay on board.
Sailing to Aswan
Enjoy the picturesque Nile landscape during the sail to Aswan – including lunch on board after passing through the Esna Lock. Overnight stay on board.
El Kab & Edfu
Visit El Kab (including a donkey ride through the ruins) and continue to Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus. In the evening, an Egyptian barbecue dinner awaits you, with an overnight stay on Fawaza Island.
Gebel el-Silsila
Sailing past the historic sandstone quarry of Gebel el-Silsila, the source of many temple stones. Evening anchorage at a Nile island and overnight stay on board.
Kom Ombo & Sunset
Morning visit to the temples of Sobek and Haroeris in Kom Ombo. Afterwards, continue to Aswan with lunch. A sunset dinner on deck rounds off the day.
Aswan & Botanical Island
Visit the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk in the quarry, and Elephantine Island. Afterward, a felucca-style boat trip to Kitchener's Island (Botanical Island).
Return Journey
Transfer to the airport for your return flight. Your tour guide will assist you with all procedures.
