Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Luxor
After your scheduled flight to Cairo, you will take a short domestic flight to Luxor. You will be welcomed at the airport and escorted to your comfortable 5-star Nile cruise ship. The evening is at your leisure to get your first impressions of Luxor.
Day 2
Karnak & Luxor Temple
Tour of the grand Karnak Temple complex and the Luxor Temple along the Nile promenade. In the afternoon, your Nile ship sets sail and heads via Esna towards Kom Ombo.
Day 3
Kom Ombo Double Temple
Visit to the double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus, including the Crocodile Museum. Afterwards, continue cruising to Aswan.
Day 4
Agilika Island & Philae Temple
Boat trip to Agilika Island and a guided tour of the famous Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis.
Day 5
Aswan & Abu Simbel
Day at leisure in Aswan or optional excursion to the rock temples of Abu Simbel. In the afternoon, continue cruising to Edfu.
Day 6
Relaxation on the Nile
Enjoy relaxation on the sun deck of your ship as the river landscape drifts past you downstream towards Esna.
Day 7
Thebes-West & Valley of the Kings
Excursion to Thebes-West to visit the Valley of the Kings, the terraced temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon.
Day 8
Departure from Luxor
After breakfast, transfer to Luxor Airport for your return journey back to Switzerland.
