Itinerary
Day 1
Scheduled flight to Cairo, followed by a short domestic flight to Luxor (approx. one hour). Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be met by our friendly representative, who will assist you with customs formalities, and transferred to the 5-star Nile cruise ship. In the evening, you can discover Luxor on your own.
Day 2
After breakfast, you will visit the holiest temple complex of Karnak, the Great Temple of Amun. The journey continues to the city center and to the Luxor Temple, located on the Nile corniche, which is dedicated to King Amun. The temples of Luxor and Karnak are connected by a miles-long Avenue of Sphinxes. Particularly impressive are the massive pylon towers and the hypostyle hall of the great Karnak Temple. In the afternoon, the ship sets sail and travels via Esna to Kom Ombo. Meals and overnight stay on board.
Day 3
Early in the morning, the journey continues to Kom Ombo to visit the temple of the sun god Horus and the impressive Sobek Temple, dedicated to the crocodile-headed god Sobek and the falcon-headed Horus. Depictions of both gods have been immortalized in the relief works. A curiosity is the 2,000-year-old embalmed sacred crocodiles in the Crocodile Museum. Following your tour, continue onwards to Aswan and overnight in Aswan.
Day 4
Today you will take a motorboat to Agilkia Island to visit the Philae Temple (Hut-chenti, House of the Beginning), about eight kilometers south of Aswan. The impressive temple structure is dedicated to the patron goddess and pearl of the Nile (Isis).
Day 5
Full day at leisure in Aswan, to rest or to visit the lively souk of Aswan. Alternatively, you can take an excursion to Abu Simbel, bookable through your tour guide, to visit two of Egypt's most imposing temples: the Great Temple of Ramesses II and the small temple of his wife Nefertari. Continue to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.
Day 6
Relax on the inviting sun deck of your Nile cruise ship and watch the wonderfully archaic landscape along the Nile pass by. In the morning, the journey continues towards Esna.
Day 7
After breakfast, you will drive to the west bank of the Nile to Thebes-West to visit the Hatshepsut Temple in the sprawling Valley of the Kings — the most photographed monument among the 3 mortuary temples of Deir el-Bahari, featuring a magnificent terraced temple set in a picturesque valley basin. The Valley of the Kings houses arguably the most famous royal tomb discovered to date: the tomb of Tutankhamun.
Day 8
After breakfast, transfer to the airport in Luxor for your flight to Sharm El Sheikh, or domestic transfer from Luxor to Hurghada, El Quseir, or Marsa Alam. (Please review the beach hotels and select the accommodation that suits you best.)
Day 9
Start your beach vacation with a delicious breakfast buffet. Afterward, you can spend the whole day at the beach and get a tan. In the evening, a delicious open buffet dinner with a wide selection and high quality awaits you in a cozy ambiance.
Day 10
Discover dream beaches with fine sand beneath your feet and an indescribable view of the vast Red Sea — undoubtedly the most relaxing way to enjoy your holiday. Various local water sports options make your beach holiday even more wonderful.
Day 11
Beach, sports, nature, and a relaxing atmosphere make your beach holiday perfect. A comfortably equipped and lovingly furnished room awaits you after a long day at the beach. The friendly Egyptian service staff looks forward to seeing you again in the restaurant.
Day 12

Day 13
Alongside the lovely sandy beaches and clean swimming water, you have the opportunity to book an incomparable range of activities and excursions with your local tour guide.
Day 14
Snorkeling excursion in Giftun National Park, visit to the cable and water park, and a sunrise quad bike adventure.
Day 15
Our tour guide will take you to the airport and handle the flight and customs formalities for your return journey.
